Retail & Service Shop
In addition to the work we do in the community, Shift Community Cycles is also a full service bicycle shop. Our shop fosters an inclusive, welcoming environment where questions are encouraged. Assessments of your bicycle are always free.

Outreach Services
Shift understands that in order to provide access to all, outreach is integral to those we serve. Shift offers pop-up bike repair as well as a variety of fun and educational event services to integrate bicycle advocacy into your event.

Group Rides
We believe that the best way to build a strong sense community is to explore it with your friends and neighbors! Join us for any of the group rides we offer each month. Different rides meet different community needs, but everyone is welcome on every ride.

Retail & Service Shop
Shift sells bicycles refurbished from community donations. This model serves members of our community who otherwise would not be able to afford a bike. We focus on a low barrier to entry to get everyone on a bike.
We offer:
Ready-to-ride, refurbished bicycles
New and used parts and accessories
Full repair and tune-up services
Rental e-bikes for program participation
All bicycle styles and types are welcome!
Please note that all sales are in-store; however, we do have an online eBay store.
Building community
Outreach Services
Shift brings bike repair and education directly to the community with mobile pop-up services and engaging event offerings that make bicycle access and advocacy part of the experience.

Pop Up Repairs
Shift is proud to be the sole source provider in Lane County for bringing bike repairs to you! Our E cargo Bike “Moondog” and our XL trailer ”Carla,” haul all that we needed for your event, demonstrating the utility of a bicycle. We’re your bike repair shop on wheels!

Bike Kits for Adults and Youth
Contract Shift to build and provide fully-refurbished bicycles for your group or clients. All bike kits include: a refurbished and properly-sized bicycle, helmet, lock, and a light set.

Bike Registration & Lock Demos
Our team will walk you through the do’s and don’ts of keeping you bike as secure as possible. As an added bonus, we’ll walk you through the steps of registering your bike with trusted online databases in case the worst were to happen.

Route Planning & Safety Education
Let our experts assist with building the most efficient and safe route for your trip/group ride/commute club. Shift will provide educational resources on bike safety, proper riding techniques, traffic laws, and road etiquette.

Free Light & Safety Gear
Have Shift provide free bike lights and other essential safety gear such as reflective vests, bells, and helmets. This service helps ensure riders are seen, safe, and supported—especially during evening commutes or in low-visibility conditions.

Spin Art Bike
Take your event to the next level through pedal-powered fun! Our spin art bike is a great addition to any event to get your audience engaged. Learn more.

E-Bike Library
Ready to try e-bikes in a group setting? Shift has refurbished 5 e-bikes, thanks to a grant from EWEB! Bring the e-bike fleet to your event for a lesson and trial ride.

Started right here in Eugene, Kidical Mass rides are back! A free, family-friendly adventure on the last Saturday of each month to build confidence, community, and celebrate families on bikes.

Let us lead your team!
We have a number of fixed routes to show off all that Eugene has to offer. As a team building exercise, advocacy event, or even just to set a time to get outside with friends, a group ride is always a great answer. We’ll handle the ride leads, insurance, and routes. You just enjoy the ride!

The next generation of riders
Shift Kidz empowers young riders with the skills, confidence, and community support they need to thrive on and off the bike. From hands-on workshops to group rides and family events, our programs help kids build independence, explore their neighborhoods safely, and discover the joy of cycling.
