END OF YEAR GIVING
Help Shift Grow
Shift Community Cycles has made a huge impact on the community in 2025!
So far this year, Shift:
Received 672 Donated Bikes, refurbishing 575 of them:
Sold 425 through the shop
Donated 150 through Free Bikes 4 Kidz
The remaining 167 were scrapped for specific parts, keeping bikes out of landfills.
Repaired 405 bikes at 49 Repair Pop Up events!
Hosted 8 Summer Camps, 12 volunteer nights, and 40 maintenance classes for over 800 participating community members
Partnered with 16 local service providers to outfit their clients with bikes
And we’re just getting started!
As Shift continues to grow and expand our outreach, we require more community support. In 2026, we hope to expand our program offerings to a new building, requiring a significant boost in funding to meet community needs.
Your contribution in 2025 will assure our success in 2026 to remove barriers and make cycling an accessible form of transportation for all.
Your gift today will sponsor our Big Goals in 2026:
Additional outreach to (and programming through) partner organizations to meet people in their neighborhoods and new community settings.
Keeping the lights on at a second location that will feature community stands, classes for all ages, summer camps for youth, and a new workforce development program.
Becoming Lane County’s destination Bicycle Resource Center.
Let’s work together to make a difference. Help us make a shift in transportation for lasting impact in our community.
Sincerely,
Kendsie Channing

“A necessary space Eugene has been missing for years.”
“Super helpful friendly staff! Cool shop with lots of used bike parts for fair prices and multiple bike stands with tools to use for free! Used ready to ride bikes as well. They also offer community workshops and organize group rides! Seems like a great organization for accessible bicycling in Eugene with a focus on being a resource for the community. A specific but necessary space that Eugene’s been missing for years.”
