Free Bikes 4 Kids

As of 2025, Shift is the local Free Bikes 4 Kidz chapter in the Eugene-Springfield area!*

Free Bikes 4 Kidz Eugene-Springfield was founded in 2018 with a goal to help all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need.

Shift Community Cycles takes on the operations of refurbishing and matching donated bicycles to kids in need. Our monthly volunteer work parties clean, tune up, and fix donated kids’ bikes to go right back out to meet needs in the community.

Shift’s FB4K program now runs out of donated space at 190 W. Broadway. Come join us to fix up bicycles for kids (and adults) in our community!

Volunteer work parties occur on the First and Third Thursdays of each month from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. All are welcome to join!

We also host volunteer groups. Please email info@shiftcc.org to schedule your group to help with FB4K.
