Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization.
It is what makes us a community bike shop!
Volunteering with Shift is open to anyone, not just professional or aspiring bike mechanics. We need help to process, organize and upcycle community members' generous donations. As a volunteer, you play a pivotal role in building a more accessible bicycle-friendly future.
Volunteer benefits
For 3 hours of your time each month, you receive access to the membership work stands for your own projects. In addition:

Join us for 3rd Thursday each month
Our Third Thursdays Volunteer Nights take place on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Get a brief orientation and check out the process of working with Shift!
All volunteer efforts on these nights go toward Free Bikes 4 Kidz donations back into our community.
